Remarkable You! Poem by John Dowdall

Remarkable You!

Rating: 4.5

I can't let you swin out to the darkest waters,

my life would be over if anything happened to you,

the river cannot be crossed here.

7 am and i'm barely awake, i see your smile

that transports me to heaven and back,

let not the dawn attack.

When we first kissed on a moonlit night,

my heart was taken away by your light

that you shone on me.

The bond we share is true,

the sky at dawn is blue,

remarkable you!

A well articulated love poem subtly penned to capture the bliss of love from the heart of hearts. A lovely piece written with conviction. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
