Regret By The Sea Poem by Christopher Teale

Regret By The Sea

Playful waves that come and go
longing brain, your memory stays
playful eyes said yes and no
yearning heart, travel delays

But the Sun goes down decisively
cowardly lips don't say the word
regretful time that leaves us gently
uncertain future, wasted present, permanent past.
