Reflections Poem by Juan Olivarez

Reflections

Rating: 5.0

Reflections of a youthful face,
Are mirrored in a pool.
From a distant time and place,
Face of a youthful fool.

Reflections from a looking glass,
Of sunny summertime.
A boy and girl, lying on the grass,
In a far distant clime.

Reflections of a time long gone,
More innocent by far.
When life was just a groovy song,
You could sing to the stars.

Reflections of the way things were,
And can never be again.
Sometimes reflections are just a blurr,
When reflecting in the rain.
