Reflections Poem by Kieran John J McGuigan

Reflections

Before the thought has thought itself.
In the mind of our beholder
An immediate spontaneity,
Encounters vast invasions
No martyred man of passions in pathetic rags.
But only brief, and forceful assonance
Too late to chase that impossible dream
Before the thought has thought itself.
