Recipes - Orange Poem by Natalia Bakina

Recipes - Orange

Orange is scattering summer lace...
Unweave it to make a string,
Then pull it gently for a high ring –
You’ll hear warm sounds of grace...

Listen to them and choose
The rays melting musical toffee,
The flickers stirring up singing coffee,
The wind blowing sparkles on mousse...

Have you relished sun-drenched bread?
To make your breakfast resonate
Pour some light through marmalade
You’ll get a shining spread...

Search the sky for a foamy cloud -
One airy shred is enough
To whip your cream into a puff...
The morning will laugh out loud...

Vigorous, impulsive, bold,
Impetuous, vital and smashing;
Vibrant, lively and dashing -
Orange is so manifold!
