Public infrastructure, U S Military, Social Security, Libraries, Public Education, Police, etc; the list goes on and on.


Sleight-of-hand machinations
....Perpetrated aberrations
Man's recipe for political unrest
....Hobgoblins at the border
Smoke-screened disorders
.....Diversionary tactics......at best

Capitalism...the mechanism
.....Often subject to criticism
Doesn't mean the sum...of the total....is all bad
Much from socialism we've taken
Now that concept's forsaken
...Hypocrisy....our nation's.....long had

Once perusing the above list
.....Mere intellect will insist
There's a bogeyman...hiding somewhere...in plain sight
.....'Cause socialism ain't new
Within this list quite a few....
Every day in so many ways we've seen the light

....Now...hobgoblins at the border
Smoke-screened disorders
.....Diversionary tactics at best
Sinisterlistic aberrations.....
Sleight-of-hand machinations
....'Tis the recipe....for political....unrest
