Real cold winter nights
When nobody wants to be real cold
And all alone
A man wants a woman to be with
And a woman wants a man to be with
Because nobody really
Wants to be real cold
And all alone
On one of them
Real cold winter nights

On some winter nights
It gets so very cold
And it feels real good
If you've got somebody to
Have and to hold

All night long
On one of them
Real cold winter nights
Nature might call you
In a voice that sounds
So very strong
Because nobody wants to be
