the people are ready for change

and not tomorrow
but today
the people
are ready for change
and change
is on the way

Freedom is the word
people crowd the street
and surely
their voices will be heard
their demands cannot be denied
darkness has nowhere to hide
the winds are changing
their direction
and blowing strong
the time has come
for change
time to right the wrong
