I once read the night sky
like a favorite book, which
no longer needed notes or gloss,
so close to my heart lay the book's
meaning. I stand, hatless and thought-
less, beneath those cosmic letters
riddling my fortune, measuring
my years still in earth, ever ready
for the shallow sleep at night, or
my deep sleep once and for all.

Your imagination reflects your power of judgement and power of perception in wonderful way. Considering night sky as a book you have tried to reveal the mystery behind all stars shine here. Deep sleep analyzes these in reality and dream. A nice sensation is reflected in beauty of loveliest mood. An interesting poem is excellently penned with a great perceptional imagery.
