Random Spirits Of Senseless Violence Poem by Albert Caylor

Random Spirits Of Senseless Violence

Random spirits of such hateful violence
When will they ever, ever be silenced?
Everyday we cry out and wince
None of hate's crimes make any sense!

Where's their compassion, the feeling they're loved?
Do they ever stop...simply look above?
They say I am me, so I have the right
You must be wrong, so alas, I must fight

No regard for the value of one's life
They discard their heart, bringing gun and knife
The sad broken hearts, do they ever feel
Innocents, hope, and dreams is what they kill?

Rich man and poor man, they all are guilty
Blind to the goodness of life's true beauty
Let's hope that all will fall down on their knees
Pray to their God, a new vision to see

All must rise up, before we all will fall
Universal love....it can conquer all.
