Rainy Morn In Blackburn Poem by james watkin

Rainy Morn In Blackburn

A rainforest in suburbia;
As green a view, soaking.
As fair, in its feathered run-off
Parrot's tri-flash dyed in.

Spoiled for charm. Augmented by
In what is hushed besides
For street, motley house styles facing;
More of whose shyness hides.
