Rain Poem by StaceyLeigh Olner

Rain

Pitter patter goes the rain,
On my window,
Splish splash goes the rain,
In all the puddles,
When it rains lightly,
The birds come out and paddle,
Paddle and wash in the puddles,
When it rains everywhere gets wet,
But if it's heavy rain,
It may get flooded,
When it rains it helps plants grow,
Big and strong,
Unless theres too much rain,

Pitter patter,
As the rain gets faster,
Rumble clash bang as it turns,
To a thunder storm,
Flash goes the lightening,
Fly away goes all the birds,
Untill the very last rumble is over.

Wrote this while it was raining.
