Quietness Poem by Butterflies In My Belly Forever

Quietness

Rating: 5.0

I sat down to write this poem.
Usually that is not my style.
So I am opening my mind and letting it spew.

The topic I have chosen Is of Quietness...
I'm sitting here on the couch,
Hearing it's sweet caress

Funny how quiet the trees are,
Yet I can here them move.
All in the same rhythm,
Feeling the same groove....
the sound of Quietness.

I see my plants around me and I can hear them breath my air.
Their colors are bright...
I would not have noticed if Quietness were not there.

And finally as I'm in bed,
The stars are beaming down,
And through the Quietness I hear them say...
'You are a princess and we are your crown'.
