Quiet Stars Poem by Jennifer Unknown

Quiet Stars

Late night I begin my search for you
Walking under the quiet stars
I dream of what might become
Tonight, tomorrow, next year
Sneaking around outside
No one knows, surprising
To be with you, to see your excited face when I arrive
Knocking on the door I hear someone laughing inside
A friend maybe
Knock again and all is silent
The door opens and you smile
You're alone, but who was laughing
A million rocks thrown into my face
I walked alone that night under the quiet stars
