The quiet comes now
Sneaks up on you
The quiet comes down
And screams the truth

This will end
Nothing is forever
We might not be here
Together forever

You don't have to trust me
You don't have to care
Just know when you're sad
I'll always be there

I feel awful
But I warned you
As the stars shine down
You remember too

You gave me one last chance
I screwed up
You never forgave me
And it's been tough

But I was sad
I no longer am
I'm a better person now
In the end

You know what you want

Why should I live up
To someone so complete
