Question Poem by i am not crazy

I asked the sky
When it passed by
And flew over my head
What’s my purpose in this world?
“Why not ask the sun instead? ”

So I went on
And waited for dawn
Till the sun came and stood still
What’s my purpose in this world?
“Well it’s not my job for this to fulfill”

So then again
My journey won’t end
For I am not yet satisfied
I kept searching and searching till I find the one
Yet I am clueless and am loosing much pride

I saw the clouds
So much endowed
But was not able to answer me
I tried again, and there was response
It was God, Almighty

He came and descended
And I asked Him again
What’s my purpose in this world?
“My dear child, what nonsense you’re asking, you’re here
To serve your Lord”

“To brighten the day
To drive bad away
To make lives even better
You couldn’t die and I won’t let it be
For you’re here and I couldn’t be happier”

“You maybe depressed
You may be a mess
And I know you’re down and lonely
But there’s no need for such
And you shouldn’t do much
Because all you need is a talk with Me”







“Now tell Me your problems
And all that saddens
Your day and your whole life too
And I will fight them away
And make your day
I’ll do what’s best for you”


“So don’t feel bad
And don’t be sad
I’ll be here standing by
I’ll listen to you
Whenever you’re blue
Don’t ask the sun or the sky”

So I thanked Him once
And thanked Him twice
For He made me glee
And cheered me up and made me think,
Someone’s still there for me
