Que Sera Sera Poem by Frederick Nellist

Que Sera Sera

Will I discover rainbows pot of gold
Or destined to be immersed in dreams
My acclaimed fortune soon to unfold
Or mice and men and best laid schemes
Will I be famous by endeavours made
Or ambition slumber and vision weak
My achievements never made the grade
Grand illusions not allowed to speak
Not much said for a wing and prayer
Things worth having not usually free
I'll leave glory to those that dare
Que sera sera, what will be will be.
