Quake - Cyclone - Flood Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Quake - Cyclone - Flood

Charities are ever calling,
Brothers and sisters draw nigh.
Never was there such a need
To save the lives of those who cry.

Dealing with cyclone, flood or 'quake'
Bringeth heartache, grief and sorrow.
Bumpy the road that lies ahead
With such little hope for the morrow.

So friends of the earth, come we plead.
Help is needed... take the lead!
Right now in the aftermath of tragedy
In the disaster zone of emergency.

Whilst the gloom of night is falling
Charities are ever calling.
