I think we all lie,
We lie when we look in the mirror,
Every morning when we say the same pep talk,

We just stare at our reflection,
Watch as it stays in tune with every motion,
And we say that can't be me,

Even though we all know it is,
And on some level we all hate our selves for it,
Then we get ready,

Wash our faces,
Brush our teeth,
Put on makeup and fake smiles,

Because if we don't smile they win
