I finally told you how I felt
but you broke my heart
I was going to let the tears run
but that wouldn't have been smart

To let you see me break down
Would be my big mistake
Because it was more than 3 years ago
When it was my heart I let you take

You didn't know you had it
You didn't even care
Because of that I begged
For God to hear my prayer

But I guess my words
Only hit deaf ears
Because when I finally told you
My heart was burst with tears
