Purple Scar Poem by Nate Jones

Purple Scar

climb the stairway
another abusive day
as tears stream down
until they hit the ground
your heart is broken
never to be spoken
and the memories hurt
ripped apart
your nothing but dirt
everything decays
tormenting sunrays
spread the sorrow
to your room
don't want another tomorrow
it would be your doom
innocence lost
price paid at high cost
scarred and jadded
you feel betrayed
by someone your trust
they did more then cuzz
in your dresserdror a knife
looking at it's piercing relief
it's your only best freind
silent crys for help you send
heartbeats fade like a candle
screaming within,
the unbearable pain is a shamble
seems like evil always win
flashbacks keep on repeating
they spead the sickness of dying
deep with a knife
sadness and unfolding strife
in tear my flesh
any hope there is no such
a sign of relief
with addiction's teeth
bleeding through my soul
there is a great big whole
save me please
hold me in your loving arms
make all the pain seace
replace that knife and disarm
