As the night turns into day
and the days turn into nights,
I look up
into the sky and wait
for an angel to bring me a little happiness.
But all I ever see is Purple Star -
this star shines brighter than the sun.
Oh Purple star (you light up my life)
I wish on you to be mine for one -
One hour, one night, or even a forever,
whatever is your fancy.
I don't just wanna have sex with you baby,
I wanna go Purple dancing
through the stars to another galaxy,
to a world filled of fantasy,
a world existing only of
Purple you, and me.
Purple is the devil's soul and the angels heart of fire -
We all are a little devilish inside for we all have a desire.
If Purple was a man, this man I would wed.
For Purple is a mysterious kind and I know he'd love to bed.
He would lift me up, bring me down, then carry me even higher.
But Purple is the sign of peace, the sign of you and me
and when we come
together
at night
Purple is the sea.
Purple's love, Purple's war. What's the difference between the two?
(why is Purple so hard to describe but so easy to picture?)
I wonder about you dear, do you wonder about me too?
Purple is the world -
the Love, the Hate, and most of all
Sex - the experience of boy meets girl.
Color me Purple if you can. Get your heart in motion.
Let's get naked in the sand and then swim in the Purple ocean.
Let me inside your Purple mind so I can make you see
that it don't get no better than
A Purple you, and me.
(Can't you see?)
wonderful metaphorical poem belonging to symbolism, I love it.........10++++++++++
a fine wording! purple a beautiful metaphor! .......thoughtful! 10+
Sweet romantic poem on purple...loved it. Such an androgynous read. Certainly, highly inspired, as it's beautifully flowing, free form suggests. I especially liked this line, 'Purple is the devil's soul and the angels heart of fire -' It reminded me of me and my late hubby's relationship...two gemini's! ! It was certainly colourful and I have been looking for the same colour in a partner ever since we parted. I love the colour myself, it kind of grows on you... Smiling at you Tai
