I will lift up my eyes on high
And praise the God that I serve
He's an ever present help in time of need
He's the God that made heaven and earth

I stand upon the Rock that cannot be moved
And my soul He surely shall keep
I call upon the Lord, night and day
For my Lord He never does sleep

He is a shade to me in the desert sun
He is a fire to me in the night
He preserves my soul forevermore
He alone is my strength in the fight
