Present Is a Gift

A life I dream of
I dream of a life with a bright future
Have to live in the present
Present I wish to turn into a gift
A gift is always a precious thing
So we simply have to cherish everything.
The good and the bad has to be accepted
By keeping only the best of life as life only becomes complete then
It is life and to make the best out of it is your choice
As life is about not regretting
You lived your life and it is all that makes sense
Make the most out of life by treating it as a gift which presents love.

poet Charles Stuart Calverley

He stood, a worn-out City clerk —
Who'd toil'd, and seen no holiday,
For forty years from dawn to dark —
Alone beside Caermarthen Bay.
