It was 1898
Morgan Robertson published a book ‘Futility'
The story of a passenger ship … Titan
The ship hits an iceberg
On the starboard side
In an April night
About 400 nautical miles away
From Newfoundland
The ship had a shortage of life boats
so could not provide safety
to half the passengers
and it's crew members
1500 people killed.

After 14 long years … in 1912
Titanic sank at same location
For same reason
Same numbers of people killed
And reason for loss of life also same.

The author was accused of clairvoyance
But he claimed ….
He predicted the destiny of Titanic
In the form of a story
It was purely based on his knowledge
Of Maritime practice and shipbuilding.
