Preconceived Notion Poem by Alex Alexander

Preconceived Notion

What's with Preconceived Notion
All in the name of,

We lived our lives: as wandering spirits;
Casualties of war,
An endless loop that's lost in translation.
Yet revealed in revelation.
Your greed has plundered our lands;
With blood on your hands.
In the name of democracy, see in an attempt.
To overthrow. Kleptocracy:
Embedded Theocracies, underlining Ayatollahs;
Mass destruction chemical warfare.
No amenity, only equanimity: plans for many fatalities.
Dress in religious hypocrisy.
Base on and brace on enthusiasm, too extremist.
Supremacy, meanwhile those
Faceless drones: sniping down our Brother
Father's son's and Mother's;
Tears stain the sister's face; while pain runs,
Into the meeting place.
Will healing come with saving grace?
Where hopelessness, and formless faces.
Are we not creating the image of our beloved?
Night has become our light.
Chaos surrounds Kabul; as blood runs through the villages.
Like the blood that flows through our veins;
As wars endlessly perpetuate: fate, consoles.
Their stories are untold.
In search of our dead for days.
Unfold.
