Poor In Mind Poem by Francis Duggan

Poor In Mind

Financially wealthy but poor in his mind
In the World there are many of his kind
Though without money you will struggle to survive in the World of today
It cannot buy you happiness only true to say
The praises of money the masses may sing
And though it is quite important it is not everything
Just look at the wealthiest person in the town
He feels quite unhappy and is mentally down
Because of money he does not sleep well at night
On his face never the smile of delight
And though money does speak every language some do like to say
In life you cannot have it every way
Just like the materially wealthiest person of the town
Feeling quite unhappy and mentally down.
