Poor Children Lost In The Woods Of The World

POOR CHILDREN LOST IN THE WOODS OF THE WORLD
Poor children lost in the woods of the world
And tangled in moonlight
How will you survive the fairytale road
On the pages where all grows dark
And you must ferret out on your own
Whatever is left of light
And console one another
Pity has no name but yours
The Madonna wrap you in her cloak of sighs
Gold roses fall to earth while you slumber
In Heaven it will not be this way
In Heaven it will not be this way
