Polash. Poem by zahin siddiqi

Polash.

If ever seen on a lonely afternoon-
in the greenfield or by the sea,
If seen in any-
machine regulated vehicle.
Reluctantly, if unknowingly seen-
Let me say the unspoken.
Let's talk about the world
Which I knew.
Even today it is not over
The softness of the fog in the grass,
The revolutionaries have remained the same.
Soldiers that always raise slogans on the streets.
Do you remember him?
His movements like Boundell
You were scared, but he wanted you to be a fighter like him.
Let me tell you
How did Polash get killed?
Couldn't find him on the green or-
Recognized in that green feelings.
Let me know -
He has no income waiting for you.
Still vocal against corruption,
He is fearless in the way of truth and justice,
Let me tell you the unspoken word
If it happens suddenly
In a luxurious room.
