Poet Versus Politician.
Although both professions start with P.
They are as different as land and sea.
So,
How different, the poet
From the politician!
The poet lives
For love,
That flowers into
Full conviction and life,
As humanism, towers.
But,
The politician lives
Only for power
And regardless of
All promises, falsely
Made, will not engage
In benefiting those
Who so blindly voted
For the lies of these
Slimy rogues
As your liberties,
They happily devour.
Full marks for the truth expressed here without mincing words. Spot on! Politicians have let us down time and again. Bravo! Universal and timeless thoughts!

This timeless poem expresses how politicians kill democracy, kill freedom of expression and indulge in corruption and nepotism.
