Soft light green
are the leaves of spring,
they energise, give new life,
revive, make new,
rejuvenate
our living passion.
The trees pleasure
is now our pleasure.
Good poetry,
can fertilise,
revitalise, renew,
inspire new thought,
can comfort or
create new passion.
The poets pleasure
is now our pleasure.
For it is our pleasure
to see new green leaves
our pleasure to read
good poetic works.
They must both come
from, the same life spirit
that runs through all.
For is it not like magic,
both begin to grow?
Bob a great write as trees and poetry both give us pleasure, add them both together and you get double the amount. Top marks and thanks for sharing it my friend. All the best David
What a wonderful poem! How well you have praised both Spring and poetry with your comparisons. You are correct - both are a delight.
Wonderful comparison Bob. We poets seem to unnderstand that we are part of nature and therefore we respect it and observe it more closely.
Poets derive so much inspiration from the beauty and wonders of nature - the connection that you have made between poems and trees is great..Thanks 10/10
Your poem is as fresh and refreshing as the budding blooms of Spring! 10! -Raj
A fresh and passionate comparison. Trees hold together the land, and we can link together with our poetical thoughts and words. This poem has indeed been a pleasure to read Bob. 10 love Karin
lovely poem Bob. trees are living poems. at times when I am in awe of nature, I wish words would leave me alone. i just want to be. i rhink that's what the poet thought for a moment when he composed the poem I sent you. poetry and nature both enrich our lives.you have said it all thanks regards Mamta
