Poet Be True
Inventing as we go along
Poet's visions, poet's storms,
For a writer, has to write
In order for blood to flow,
But pay attention,
Be sincere
There is nothing worse
Than inventing fear
Saying the wrong thing
Causing panic
Or unusual misinformation
For that you don't need
A poet's pen, all you need
Is some good, deep sedation.
Good poem. There is an African proverb says " The tongue can burn the whole village. Yea we need to be careful what we write. My last line i would have Is some good, deep inspiration.

The integrity of Poetry hs been established since time immemorial. Poets weaves words that come mostly from the heart. It is on this premise that Poets works should not be tinged with words devoid of truth.
An honest write imbued with a meaningful and important message extracted from the mind of a great, true and sincere Poetess. Poetry maybe deprived of material wealth but the sincerity and dedication of Poetry to humanity should never, never be compromised with falsehood and insincere words.
