Poem Of An Amateur Poet

(A Poem from Angela Gollinger)

The sun shining bright from above ….
Warming my skin….
As I rest alone on the water's edge
Trees….Full and beautiful….
Their brown and emerald branches….
Blowing gently in the warm summer breeze
I smile, admiring the swan in all her beauty….
As she glides gracefully across the pond
Ripples spreading around her,
Rings of sparkling gems abound…
Shimmering ….As the sun reflects
Its glorious golden rays on the ripples
Peace fills me in as I gaze upon this scene
Soothing my soul, easing my mind of its troubles
Renewing my sense of determination and hope
For this moment I feel so in tune...
With my God and my vibrant mother Earth …
Her rhythm of life beats in my heart…
Creating this enchanting moment of serenity…
I feel for sure it's a gift from God!

I received this poem (just found in my old folder) seven years back from someone (Angela Gollinger by name) who considered herself a casual poet. I found her talent and requested her to continue writing and share with me. Unfortunately I did not receive any more from her.
