It isn’t easy to explain how hard it is to lose your dad,
until you’ve had it happen, you can’t possibly know,
that's what it's truly like.

No more hugs and kisses,
No more I'll be there
No more I love you,
Does he still care?

No more being held when sore,
No more fun camping trips.
No more hearing my nick name,
No more useful camping tips.

No more smiles of happiness,
not even a happy day.
I love you dad, more then life,
that's all I have to say

I know you as my real dad
no matter what they do.
I want to hold you again,
and hold my mum too.
