I know your heavy heart is sad,
within your eye a bitter tear.
As you remember all you had
with one you once had held so dear.

I know it hurts right now,
but if you'll just hang on.
With time, the day will come
that the pain will be gone.
If you let it keep you down,
Surely, you'll never last.
If you just hang on a while,
Someday, the pain will pass.

Breathe deep, seek peace
For now you’re at rest.
I was new at this…
I’m sorry

Akki, my boy
I tremble inside
To think of the horror
You had to abide.

Moonlight, my darling
Please be at peace.
I tried so hard to be the best you could have
Now it is eternal release…

I never wanted you to pass
At such a tender age
I wanted your lives forever to last,
But now you’re free of life’s cage…
