Please my love now is the time
The light shines through
Through the stained glass
To those that ask
The feelings linger
And hovers deep within
To what’s right you need
No introduction at all
The trumpet accompanies
In an unspoken language
No interpreter to be found
Speaking to my heart
Playing with my soul
Cat and mouse
As he wears his
Cheshire cat of a smile
Momentarily the joy pours in
And for a fleeting moment
I think I understand
As the red light shines through
Through the stained glass
The dawn breaks on the twilight of the day
It floods my heart overwhelming my eyes
And I am so pleased my love took the time
