We shall situate this
politics
of an active
citizenship
within a form
and forms of
the common life
within a Platonist,
Aristotelian,
Thomist,
Hegelian,
Marxist
understanding of a
purposively ordered
and scaled universe
of ascending themes
and powers, a unitary
summum bonum
in which everything
is in its proper place
to make for a
well-tempered harmony
