Pierrot Stand Fast On The Winds Of Glass

Pierrot stand fast on the winds of glass

everything hurts you in the blast

Pierrot

wink at the sun and and blink for the moon

everything's jangled in your tune

the moon in old gold bracelets,

Pierrot, that glints.

centuries pass and it's still the same

a valentine of sugar snow pain

lost oh lost in an antique frame

wait for the earth to turn round again
mazed in a maze bemusing the Muse

and eyes so sad they could melt the stars

can anyone tell you who you are,

filled to the brim with vague regret

offering to no one the white violets,

Pierrot
