Picture To Illusions Poem by Muzzy Junkie

Picture To Illusions

Rating: 5.0

I find her picture in my wallet.
...now I wonder what to do with it! ?
Do I keep it for old times sake?
Or keep it for the more memories I make?
...I start to cling to her picture for dear life.
Remembering her just as she was still my beautiful wife.
It's cause of her that I still live to this day.
But it's cause of me that she can't have it her way.
...her smile I can't seem to visualize
...her laugh I can't seem to hear
...her warmth I can't seem to get a grasp of
...her eyes I can't seem to feel upon me
...her scent of a thousand roses I can't seem to follow
...her love I can't seem to feel taking me higher
...her arms I can't seem to feel around me
...her protection I can't seem to be safe without
......and last but not least......
....her, just her that I can't seem be around anymore
has got me tangled and intwined
in what seems to be a barbed wire fence.
And in finding no way out
I see what I know I'm seeing without a doubt.
...my dearest love, my one and only,
And she just happens to be walking back to me!
Wait, the picture looks the same! ?
Damn, now my dream became so lame!
