Photo Album Poem by Orville Phillips

Photo Album

A moment in time captures your pleasure,
A thousand words define your photograph.
‘tis for me to remember at leisure –
Pictured words in an endless paragraph.
As I turn through the pages that remind,
My favourite pictures are the ones of us.
Then one of you I’m excited to find –
In a field of yellow, and soft focus;
With wild grass lush green, and the sky cool blue.
Some are also taken in black & white,
The world is a frame for beautiful you –
How paper captures a wonderful sight.
Some of the images remain so clear,
‘tis just a picture – but you seem so near.
