and i'm thirsty and it all comes pouring down.
i'm drenched in something knew and a relief to know the truth.
hold me up and i'll live forever kneeling at your feet
bathing in the glow of the eyes that understood my tears
i'm free of all this destruction; the memories all
but scabbed and healed for good.
i know a philosophy of forever and living in the sun
a timeless lift of all the times i decided it was best to live.
