Phantom, Crime And Caste Poem by Seraphine Belle

Phantom, Crime And Caste

Moonlight glowed
In that unholy shrine
As the rain fell
Rapid tears of Heavens
Flowing through
The cracks of the Earth

The roses
As dark as Ebony
The carbon lives
Mismatched
Abnormality concedes
In everything but
Standards

Carbon roses
Trying to carry their weight
Chip
On
Their
Shoulders
As the bloomed in Spring
to face Winter
When the pure white Lillies
were Royalty

When the roses,
Black not red,
Were Beauty.
