Dinner, cards, chit-chat

Weather, politics, careers
The sun sets
Tumescence interest rises
Full-moons periodically pass
Calculated gathering provoked
Wined, dined and bonding
Colloquies of topics abound
Hidden tete-a-tete
Enthralled, fascinated, captivated
Deliberate decries received
Conversational lust
Provoke carnal thoughts
