Perception Poem by Sleep D

Perception

the one who looks down
conjures their frown
the one who looks up
from their coffee cup
connects with the crown
of their creation
being
blue sky on high
sometimes dry
sometimes wet
with tears of music to our ears
by roof and sky, a duo not so aloof
in troof and lies
would you oh please
light up my eyes
liberate the languid grey
grave with flowers of dismay
brighten the hours of my day
light up my blue skies
of perception
shuddering, delerious
imperious to
thoughts' imperfection
and the dawning of
night's deception
oh glorious perception
I am so happy to see you now
a tear for my eyes
contrary to
the bright blue skies
of my perception
happy tears
dissolve the absent years
of our perception
