People fear conflict
People fear change
People fear when things
Must be rearranged

People fear sickness
People fear disease
People fear that life
Will put them in a squeeze

People fear the future
Because it's the unknown
Because some can't control
Destiny on their own

People fear failure
Because it's always close at hand
People fear isolation
Because it's alone they will stand

People fear suffering
When they are in pain
People seek relief
By calling out Gods name

As the years make you grow old
The thought of death doesn't scare
That's because we all know
Sooner or later we'll all be there

So, if in your life
Fear has taken control
There is a way you know
For you to break the hold

Put your faith in God
For Him you need not fear
He can comfort you
But you must let him near

He'll walk with you in darkness
He'll stay right at your side
You will never go wrong
As long as He is your guide
