Peace In The Stars
there is peace in the stars
there is peace in the forest
there is peace in the sunset
and yet our peace is lost
the world of endless war
shall never find serenity
there is peace in the waters
there is peace in the breeze
there is peace in the sunrise
and yet the blood still flows
the sirens scream and wail
and vengeance is reborn
there is no peace in tears
there is no peace in smoke
there is no peace in terror
there is peace in the infant
there is peace in a hope
there is peace in a prayer

A lovely poem on peace and war. Both go side by side. That's life. But we yearn for peace for all. A state of perfection is hardly possible though.
I know I will never see the world at peace and maybe it is impossible but I believe we can do a lot better than currently. Thanks for the comment Nosheen.
