Patch Of Soft Light
Patch of mushy light
Swaying between leaves
Staying for a while
Shining on my buttons
Like embers of old flame
I hobble home through fog
Warmed up by your gesture
Steaming off my plight.
As creatures greet me
I feel emboldened by their sight.
