Part Time Love Poem by Ray Hansell

I never could give you much
But what I gave was real
All the words I ever spoke
My heart would always feel

I know that you deserved
Much more then I could give
I know you still have
So much of life to live

Loving someone part time
I know can wear you down
Because, when you love someone
You always want them around

You accepted the situation
With a lot of grace and style
But in looking back I can say
Not very often did I ever see you smile
