Part Of A Galaxy Poem by Nyagaka Charles

Part Of A Galaxy

Like an innocent drop of water in the midst o a hurricane,
Single particle of sand am tossed around in a tornado,
Flown by the wind and bouncing on hard rocks,
Then comes the sun smiling down at me,
Pulls me out n shares its warmth with me, a dead dog,
Like a sole star I shine from next to the moon,
Which draws me nearer by day,
His love flowing along with the approaching Milky Way gently pampers me,
Making me part of a wonderful galaxy in a fabulous universe,
Though the clouds dim my beam n ray,
I know one day my glow will glow,
And light up as per His will.
