Paradise Falls Poem by Gianni Vespucci

Paradise Falls

I'm going to be sitting there living
my life
Surrounded by the rubble
Tired of living by the knife
From here on out I won't stumble

I'll be on the top floor
Living it up with exotic decor
Internationally renown and you know it
People will honor me, I won't sugar coat it

Humble as usual, I will never gloat
The same person as I am now
Make a smile from that frown
Make them feel like they float

When I'm done dodging these walls
And ducking these panthers on the prowl
I'll be taking poetic business calls
Where will you be when paradise falls
